This policy explains what information BACCHUS collects through this website and how it is used.

What we collect

• When you buy a ticket: your name and email address, the tickets you bought, and the payment status and payment reference from our payment provider.
• When you sign up for updates or ask to be notified about an event: your email address, your name if you give it, and a record of your consent.
• When your ticket is scanned at an event: the time it was checked in.
• Short-lived cookies that keep checkout and the My Tickets page working securely.

Payments

Online payments are handled by Paystack. Card details are entered on Paystack's secure checkout and are never received or stored by BACCHUS.

How we use your information

• To issue, deliver and check your tickets.
• To email you about your order and the event you bought tickets for.
• To send event announcements, but only if you signed up for them and confirmed your subscription. Buying a ticket does not sign you up.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run this website: Supabase (database and file storage), Paystack (payments), Resend (email delivery) and Netlify (hosting). They process information on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Order and ticket records are kept for as long as they are needed for the event, for our accounts and to handle refunds or disputes. Technical records such as sign-in links are deleted automatically after a short time. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in any update email.

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
